Survivor Gabon
Survivor Gabon

Read all the way to the end and Vote for me.
After 8 years and 15 applications I was at last chosen to play Survivor in Gabon. I am 1 of 6 people over 60 to play and 1 of 2 women over 60. It was a most awesome experience. I cannot say much as it is all "top secret" BUT. You have to watch it.
It is filmed in HDTV and that is incredible. The scenery is amazing, the wildlife incredible (the players that is !!!) and the animals are awesome. Of course HDTV is not the best for my wrinkles BUT. Who cares.
So tune in weekly and watch it play out. It is going to be an incredible season. The game is great and the production is completely amazing.
I have written a little about my experience on my website. What is written after I was booted and all my interviews were over. Semi-gag order was lifted. Check it out.

. There are some photographs attached to this entry that show some of my pre-survivor photos. In order to be noticed by a survivor scout. I wore a bright orange shirt that said survivor scouts talk to me, or just a survivor shirt in order to attract attention.
I wore the shirts wherever I travelled and took pictures of myself in front of landmarks so that people could see I was actually traveling all over the world trying to attract attention to get on survivor. Some of these pictures are attached and are a few of several hundred. There are a few of the CBS pictures from the show also in the selection. In addition there a few of the pictures that are from my last application video which is what seem to of got me into the show. I was climbing into a cage to go diving with the great whites as you can read on my South Africa blog, repelled off Table Mountain and danced with some African young men, all of these stories are related in my South African blog.
Survivor Gabon is coming to an end.
Time to vote for Gillian
Sadly I did not have the experience I had so badly wanted for 8 years however the fun and sharing of my entire experience with so many people everywhere has been so rewarding and worth more than the game would ever be. I have also had hundreds of emails from all over the world telling me how I have inspired and motivated them to do something they have always wanted to do. This is priceless and made my Survivor quest more amazing than I ever thought it could be.
So… there is to be a player of the season and although it says to vote for the person you think outlasted, outwitted and outplayed I would so appreciate your vote. I think it would be soooo fantastic if “the person they voted off for being so happy” won. Besides there is $10.000.00 in a drawing for you too. So go to CBS.com and register and vote. You can vote 10 times. Please call, email your friends and everyone you know and lets get a voting frenzy out there.
The finale is Dec 14th and we will all be there during the re union in the 3rd hour. I have so enjoyed my journey with all of you and I thank you for all your support over the years.
Welcome to Sprint's Player of the Season!
It's the end of the season and you, the fans, get to vote on which Survivor you think best out-witted, out-played and out-lasted the others. The Survivor with the most votes will be awarded $100,000 during the series finale. And guess what? Your vote could make you $10,000 richer. Ten grand for a minute's worth of work -- about the time it takes to log-in and vote. Not bad, huh? The Player of the Season vote is open from Thursday at 8pm ET (5pm PT) to Sunday at 2:59pm ET (11:59am PT). Don't forget to tune in to the final episode of Survivor: Gabon Sunday at 8:00pm ET/PT to find out which Survivor will win the $100,000 prize.
